I was actually surprised when I saw that Melo has only 5 techs in 10 games now. It feels more like 10 in 10.

Funny, 3 days off, playing a team on the second night of a b2b and they are the ones leading after the first half and getting destroyed in the second half...

Watching Afflalo play is painful right now. Where did his confidence disappear to? He played so well in pre-season and now his confidence in his outside shot is on the level of Shaq.

Afflalo is back to his timidold self.

Billups has gone into chucking mode.

JR finally has a good game against LA and gets a DNP as a result of it.

This team drives me crazy...

Not to mention Melo is having a career night rebounding - a big part of the lead increase late 2nd quarter, and toward the end of the game he's sitting for a long time in the 4th quarter.

I just do not understand how you can hold back the hot hand before it is done dealing......

Normal games a guy cools off, its end of quarter, you take him out to protect for fouls and what not.

I really think this team needed Forbes and Melo on the floor down the stretch.

Shots are terrible because it's one and done. Chucking in the second half and then not caring about the rebound. Same freaking weakness this team had 5 years ago.

We all know if you let up on any opponent you have given them the chance to get the game back. Learn how to hold the pressure down on the opponent all game long. Please learn this Nuggets. Seriously. Learn it already.

They won't learn this until they have a new coach. We have been seeing this over and over, even with new players added, it continues. That shows the coach is likely the reason.

Scarlett had her chance and she blew it (no pun intended). Really nobody played very well last night for Denver. Melo rebounded well, but was turrble everywhere else. Billups is still Billups, Nene let Grant Hill get in his head and stayed in foul trouble because of it, Afflalo was worse then turrble, Shelden is proving the reason why he was never allowed to shoot anywhere else. I guess for a positive, you turn to Forbes, Harrington, and Lawsome. I think these 3 guys showed up to play and everyone else just showed up.

He is the main culprit behind it, but he doesn't deserve all of the blame at the moment. He has always said that he would rather coach a game close and have a chance to win it at the end, instead of letting his teams run away with a game.

I like that philosophy.....you keep a game close all the time you don't get too comfortable the next game. That makes sense.

Pulling back all the things that are working mid-game.......taking for granted that the other team has already crumbled.......that's the annoying part. Ya make a run like the Nugs did in the 2nd quarter......have to maintain that lead now. You can trade baskets - that's alright. Ya can't just cave and do every single thing wrong.

Umm... no, this makes zero sense. If you can beat a team by more, you beat them by more. It is better to blow teams out to rest the starters. And keeping it close means the other team can build confidence, get lucky, and win. GK should be fired just for this reason. At least it explains why he doesn't do anything when other teams are making runs to catch up.
