Suns (8-8) @ Nuggets (9-6)

Suns: Phoenix has defeated Denver in four consecutive games. The streak is the Nuggets' longest against any NBA opponent. . . .In its win against Denver this season, Hakim Warrick scored 21 points off the bench in 26 minutes. Since that victory, the Suns have lost four of six. . . . Said Karl of the Suns: "I think their personality is they like to play fast — they play best fast."

Nuggets: Point guard Chauncey Billups will be a game-time decision, because of his right wrist injury. . . . Karl is just five wins from 1,000. He is the seventh-winningest coach in NBA history. . . . In Friday's victory against Chicago, Shelden Williams led all Denver players in plus-minus with plus-17. . . . In the loss at Phoenix, Carmelo Anthony had 20 points with 22 rebounds, the latter a career high.

Melo took himself out of the game, he is still sick with the flu.

Game has a really good feel to it overall but gotta figure out those lapses.

Suns got a hot offense....that's a fact. That's why so much effort has to be toward stymying that offense.

Typical Nuggets make an easy game difficult. No Melo, no problem

The team has consistently played well the first game or so if Melo needs to sit out - all the way back to 2006. After a while it needs his firepower to continue on.

He had a pretty productive few minutes though so I don't think it was really a game without Melo.
