Good thing Lawson hit that midcourt 3 and JR showed up again.

Holy **** JR has been on fire these last three to four games

This game was tough to stomach. There really wasn't anything good that happened during this game except for the end result, which was the win. JR played decent, but he also had some ugly turnovers. The extra 30 free throw attempts that the Nuggets received saved their A$$e$ tonight.

good thing we have the best bench in the league or we'd be racking up home losses to bad teams like the 97-98 nuggets.

During the game, I was actually thinking that the Nuggets need a players only meeting, so the bench can call out and vent on the starters.

i think the only thing billups has done well this season is run into defenders and throw his arms up to get to the free throw line.
still works. but everything else in his arsenal looks to be MIA.

If this team is depending on a 34 year old point guard to be the second best scoring option.... this team is in trouble. He is a leader/captain and has a high BB IQ, but even for the Pistons he was the fourth scoring option.
Thats why JR should start at the 2 position for a second scoring option. Scoring leaders should be 1. Melo, 2.JR then 3. Nene.

I don't think the coaches/players want him to be the second option, it's just that he keeps choosing to shoot contested jumpers and ignoring every else making him the second option.

I see the Nuggets playing a 2-3 guard rotation a lot this year....with Lawson (point), Chauncey(shooting guard). As a matter-of-fact I saw the Nuggets beat the Suns in the fourth with Ty, Chauncey, AA and Jr all on the floor at the same time. BTW I thought it was a pretty good lineup for that game.
So why is Chauncey playing in the 2 position/shooting guard so much this year if they don't want him to shoot?

Reading the Knicks board too much can lead to insanity.
