Melo to NY Trade Idea............

Yes, I am a Knicks fan. However, I am also a Cuse grad & a huge Melo fan. I also live in NM so I get Altitude and also root for the Nugs. W Melo I like the Nugs almost as much as the Knicks, wo Melo they would be my second team. So, perhaps, I have a bias in getting Melo to the Knicks, but it is not like I want to see the Nugs get screwed or anything like that.

NY Gets - Melo, Forbes, and Birdman

Denver gets -

1. Choice of two from Gallo, Chandler, or Fields

2. Randolph or a #1

3. Curry

4. Azubuike (very favorable contract - potentially 80% paid by Insurance) & nice player if he gets back to where he was

5. $ 3M

I did not check the Trade Checker - filler can go either way as needed.

So I ask, from a strictly Denver fan perspective, is this reasonable value under the circumstance that Melo wants to go to NY & possibly could go the FA route if necessary ?
