It was nice early, got ugly, got nice again, turned ugly in the 3rd quarter and then the Nuggets woke up

two posts in a great win over a division opponent.

i decided i really dislike westbrook during this game. the only thing he does is try to run sideways into people to create contact and dupe the officials. he's like a quicker version of kevin martin, but without a accurate, ugly jumpshot.
pretty pathetic way to play basketball.
i'd like to see manu ginobili guard westbrook for a game, and watch them try to officiate it. the arena would disappear into a wormhole.

I take it you watched it when he barrelled his way into the paint with his back turned looking for a whistle towards the end of the game.
Who would have thought that the momentum would have shifted for good off of a defensive play from JR

nah. it was the combination of the whole game.
high pick and roll....if he didn't pull up and shoot from 15-18 feet, he drove to his right and then jumped over and into whatever defender was nearest to create contact and get free throws.
billups does the same sort of thing and it annoys me (though he's more armsy with it...going up through defenders with the ball extended). i just don't think offensive players should be awarded for creating contact like that.

I don't like it much either, but the entire league does it now and for some reason it is allowed. It is the offensive version of flopping.

Re: Denver v. Oklahoma
didn't get to see the game. happy we got the win. exhausted with all the Melo trade talk and tired of knicks fans on our board...i'll definitely be back more often once the situation is sorted

Re: Denver v. Oklahoma
Who knew all it would take was someone trash talking Melo, for Melo to start playing like he is capable. It was a fun game to watch, and nice to beat Durant and the thunder, who I have grown to dislike for some damn reason.
