I don't give a rat's ass how many possessions per game a faster pace style has......giving up WAY too many points for a team that is serious about winning a title.

that offensive foul on lawson was the most head scratching call i've ever seen.

i have no problem with the officials calling it that way, on every play like that, because it's a gimmick to draw a foul on an opposing bigman for doing nothing but running up the court and pg's will stop doing it immediately when they stop getting rewarded for it.

problem is, that's the first time in nba history it's been called that way. and it happened to be in the 4th quarter of a tight game.

i see it happen to bird/nene from time to time, and the call goes against them. billups gets that call against the big probably every other game. chris paul uses the same move all the time. ginobili, rondo. basically every crafty pg. and the call never goes against them.

in every other instance in basketball if you stop and a defender runs into you, it's a defensive foul. but with lawson...offensive.
