Saturday, March 18th, 2011 - 5:30 PM MST - ALTITUDE
BENCH:JR - RAY - BIRDMAN - GALLO - BAD AL - FORBES - MOZGOV - KOUFUS
INJURIES: GALLO (likely - toe) - BAD AL (hopefully not playing - achilles) - RAY (doubtful - ankle)
MIAMI HEAT STARTING FIVE:MARIO CHALMERS - DWAYNE WADE - LeBRON JAMES - CHRIS BOSH - ERICK DAMPIER
BENCH: MIKE BIBBY - MIKE MILLER - JOEL ANTHONY - EDDIE HOUSE - JUWAN HOWARD - JAMAAL MAGLOIRE - JAMES JONES
KEY MATCHUP:
VS.

I decided to go with this matchup instead of a matchup against the big 3 because its pretty obvious that we will have to do something to stop Wade, James and Bosh but if the Nuggets really want to win this game, they will have to feel the ball in the post to Nene and let him dominate Dampier like he has for years while Dampier was with Dallas. If the Nuggets can take advantage of the Heat's poor post defense and also clog the lain on the defensive end of the game, the Nuggets have a good chance to pull off the victory and go back home winning 3 of 4 on a very tough road trip.

Gallo will score 35 pts, 8 rebounds, 2 assists.
Denver wins in a blowout 102-75 over Miami.
Book it.

Teams that actually play like a "team" is miami's kryptonite. I hope you guys humiliate the heat.

The Heat owe the Nuggets, so this will be a revenge game for them. Denver blew them out by 30 points when they played in Denver.

I remember right after this trade several Knicks fans were saying that Chandler and Gallo never have good games on the same night. Well, Gallo has only played in 3 games for the Nuggets, but in 2 of those games he played well and so did Chandler. It seems like they should have said when Chandler and Gallo have good games on the same night Felton won't

Heat fan here, looking forward to the game. Both played last night, so who knows. Excited to get a chance to watch Gallo against Bosh.

After all of the years that everyone wanted AC off of the team, the time has finally arrived when he is needed, and he isn't around to use

JR and/or Forbes are said to be capable backup PGs, especially supposedly forbes. Even if they play at a d-league level it will be on par with Carter.

the nuggets are turning back to chuckers mode. go inside first then you go outside.
nene touched the ball one time and got a foul on him...
Edit: and karl needs to realize he got depth now. Martin and Chandler are playing like **** so just bench them.
Edit #2: Karl just put gallo and Jr in the game. Offense is looking better but D has been atrocious. Gallo guarded LeBron very well when he was in the Knicks. He still must be feeling the effects of his injury...

This is why JR should start over Afflalo imo.

He's too inconsistent, that could hurt the team because one day they would look better than the celtics and the other day they would struggle against a lottery team... But if Affalo can't bring his top defensive game back then there's no reason to not start Jr. over him.
He should finish the games, tho. Just like Odom/Bynum thing.Bynum starts and Odom finishes.
