Currently we are matched up with the Thunder. The Blazers are only .5 games behind us in the standings and if they pass us we will be matched up against the Mavs.

Who do you think we have the better matchup against? Potentially the Hornets (1.5 games back) could pass us matching us up against the Lakers but I don't see that happening with the schedule we have remaining.

I'm not a Denver fan but a Gallo fan, so I'll analyze it from that perspective.

Either of these matchups would be a good learning experience in the playoffs for young Gallo.

Gallo vs Manu -- would be great too.

Anyone but the Lakers in the 1st round would be alright with me. Between OKC, the Mavs, and Spurs I would rather avoid the Spurs. OKC and the Mavs are a toss up because the Nuggets usually play decent basketball against both of these teams.

I would prefer to avoid the Spurs or Lakers, matchups suit us better with the Thunder and Mavs.

That's more what I made this topic for. I don't see us dropping to 7th seed, definitely not 8th.

I say mavs. Our guards would rout theirs. K-mart and nene will cover dirk most leaving gallo with Marion. If gallo can occupy their best defender(perimeter) that would be huge for will and jr. Still need the moz to come around cuz Tyson has been huge in the middle which we saw in the b2b can be a problem for nene. He should have killed it last night but had nothin.

Meant to say kmart and bird will check dirk. Bird does ok against him. Last night was the first good look I had at gallo on d but I've heard good things. Looked like he kept himself infront of lbj pretty well. Anyway if plays any d it will help.

I'd rather see the Mavs. We match up better with them.

give me the Mavs, while Chandler has made a huge difference for that team, I think we are better at every position outside of PF, and the Nuggets depth is much better if they are healthy.

I think you guys would matchup best with the Thunder imo. Gallinari is one of the few players in the league that has the length, size, and athleticism to give Durant problems defensively although the refs are going to make sure that he gets his in the playoffs so Gallo is probably going to be in foul trouble though. I think you guys also have the interior defense to givew Westbrook trouble when he penetrates inside.

I think Dallas would be better than OKC because this OKC team will get 30 FTAs per game against denver... The refs love "humble superstars" like durant...

plus the team is really great playing home, the crowd is crazy. also they would be not as fatigued as Dallas would be while playing in the altitude.. (since OKC is a very young team)

Lawson and Felton are too quick for Kidd and Gallo could be a great rebus for their defense.
The Thunder are very young and dangerous like us.
