Night Spots in Denver

Post#1 » by spankymagee » Wed Mar 23, 2011 8:56 pm

Hi All,

My friends and I are flying into town for this weekend's Nuggets game. What are some good night spots in Denver? We are staying downtown and interested in any trendy places 25-35 year olds would go.

Also, can anyone provide any insight on the casinos? Distance from downtown? Worth the trip?

Thanks in advance.

The casinos are in the mountains in Blackhawk, which is like a 45-60 minute drive. They are kinda weak though, more of a family environment with alot of old people. Ive had fun up there, but it was because I was with a large group of friends.

As for night spots, are you lookin for more bars or clubs?

I'ld say check out the Lodo (lower downtown) area around Coors field and the 16th street mall. Both have alot of bars. Check out Lodo's, Sports Column, Wynkoop, Breckenridge Brewery, Rock Bottom, Jackson's, Tilted Kilt, Funky Buddha, Maloney's or the Falling Rock Tap House.
