After a tough loss at home to the Thunder, the Nuggets will need to rebound on the road as they visit Dallas, a team that has lost their last 3 games and 1-7 against western conference playoff teams. Kenyon will have his usual challenge of guarding dirk while we should see plenty of the Nuggets point guard tandem on the floor at the same time in order to deal with the small 2 guards of the Mavs.

NBA OFFICIALS FOR THIS GAME:
Steve Javie - Bennie Adams - Leroy Richardson

As if the Nuggets didn't have enough injury problems, Timofey Mozgov is their latest player to go down.

In the first quarter Tuesday night, the 7-foot-1 center suffered a sprained left ankle and knee against Oklahoma City. He is scheduled to have an MRI today and didn't travel with the Nuggets to Dallas for tonight's game.

"It's not a great time for an injury," Mozgov said. "It's never a good time for an injury. The doctor said my knee is OK, nothing serious. But about my ankle? We'll see."

Oklahoma City forward Nick Collison fell on Mozgov's leg with his foot planted on the court. Mozgov, in considerable pain, was helped off the court and to the locker room.

We won't really know anything until the MRI is completed, but I am hoping it he turns out to just be an ankle sprain and a strained/sprained knee.

Big win, great game from Jr.

Dallas is only a game up on OKC now (OKC owns the tiebreaker). Sure would be nice to meet them in the first round.

JR saved the game for the Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets pg play wasn't very good at all tonight. Nene rebounded well, but that is about all he did  Chandler put up some nice stats, I am glad because he had been struggling on offense.

hmmmmm thats weird i kind of don't like when j.r goes in and holds on to the ball. it slows down our offense. i think felton had it right when he said jr just needs to catch the ball and shoot. i mean he can make shots and tonight he did but theres just certain times like yesterday when he makes our offense run sluggish. either way j.r has shown great improvement on both the defensive and offensive aspects of his game. heres hoping he continues to improve. I also think that chandler scoring his 15-17 pts is very important because we are gonna need his energy and scoring ability in the playoffs, and its just gonna help his confidence.

wonder who that could be?

I kinda feel like Ely should have been getting minutes on a night like tonight instead of playing the guy who had no assists getting time at center.

its unfortunate we didn't show up like that last night. more assists, better shooting, jr & wc didn't play like scared turtles, lawson didn't have as good a statistical night....but he was attacking a lot better.
