Dallas or Okc?

Post#1 » by jcwkings » Thu Apr 7, 2011 4:37 am

I would personally rather play okc, not because it would be easier but it would teach or team nothing comes easy in the playoffs, and lets face it these two teams are gonna have one hella of a physical series .

Doesnt really matter for me. They're about even. OKC might be better at their peak and will get the favorable whistle, but the Mavs would be more hungry and have a lot of playoffs experience.

We're a better team than both of them anyway so we should be ok.

For me doesnt matter, either one will be a great series, IMO okc is more intimidating, but i'm not scared of them

Im cool either way because any team in the west will be a tough match up. But if I had to pick based on match ups and way the two are playing of late, I would rather play Dallas in the first round, plus its way too enjoyable to beat Mark Cuban.

There should not be any concerns of who we face in the first round anywhere. I would pick DAL but most important thing right now is keep the momentum and confidence high rolling into the playoffs. AAA + Bird should get all the rest they need to come back in good shape.

They will both be difficult teams to outlast. In terms of the seeding it doesn't matter. W/L all I care about seeing is the team being sharp for either challenge. Don't hand the momentum over on a silver platter. That's all.

Hey Magic fan here. just wanted to say that Denver has been my second favorite team for a while now, and that i would prefer you guys go against Dallas just so you guys can take Mark Cuban out in the first round... and also OKC is my third favorite team lol. the only time i would want them to go against each other is if they both got into the WCF.

Keep celebrating your team winning a couple of meaningless regular seasons game, while you forget that the Nuggets are missing 2 key difference makers, including their best defender and their best rebounder/shotblocker. We will see what happens in the playoffs, in about 10 days.

Dallas would probably lose in the first round against at least 6 of the other western teams in the playoffs.

I'll give you the fact that you had guys injured but cmon we both know that neither of those games were "meaningless". Maybe you could say that if they were in the first few months of the season but this close to playoffs?

Let's see the Thunder are trying to move up in the standings, the Nuggets not so much, their position is pretty set. i could see why the Ex-Sonics and their fans are so worried about it, but neither game were must wins for the nuggets. Whether that holds up in the playoffs is yet to be seen, but trying to come on this board and act like your team just accomplished something is ridiculous, considering they are still effectively 2 games back from moving up at this point.

Return to Denver Nuggets
