You guys have the 5th seed basically locked up. It's in Denver's best interest to let Dallas fall to the 4th spot. If I was a Nuggets fan, I would much rather play Dallas in the first round -- they have a history of choking in the playoffs and we know they won't get the benefit of the whistle for some reason (I guess because Stern and the NBA hate Mark Cuban)

Rest your starters or limit their minutes. Kosta Koufos should get 30+ minutes a game till the end of regular season.

I don't like the idea of tanking in hopes for an easier matchup in the playoffs. It's a win-win regardless of the outcome IMO, so go all out for the W. Win, and we take take the confidence OKC has from Monday. Lose, and we increase our chances of playing Dallas in the first round. I'd prefer the win, but a loss wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen.

What's the update on Bird, btw? Anyone know how much longer is he supposed to be out for?

I don't think denver should lose on purpose but if I was a Fan I wouldn't be a bit sad after a loss to OKC.

If you saw Durant last year against the defending champions shooting bricks throughout the series and still getting bail out calls everytime he drove to the paint you'll realize you do not want to face OKC in the first round.

A denver vs. OKC series would look like the '06 NBA finals... Seriously.

they need to play hard regardless, if they tank and it get noticed that they did, it would be a bad look for them, you cant choose your opponent, just bring your best to them

This game is a mental test in more ways than a physical one imo.

We beat LA in their house and if we can beat OKC in their house, we should not have even a slight amount of concern about competing for higher goal in the West.

I don't want to tank a game. When healthy, we can beat either team in a 7 game series, anyway.
