How much will JR Smith command in FA?

How much do you think teams value him?

Which teams could be potential targets?

Ild guess a little under the MLE. No chance he gets a contract bigger than it. A team would be really dumb to give him that much money.

With the Bulls desperate for a Sg, and some of the other teams looking for Sg help I think Jr gets the MLe.

I expect JR smith to get around MLE type money. I'm more worried about AA getting over paid and us matching.

Would you guys do a S&T for JR Smith? In return the Magic give you a Trade Exception?

Another TE is pretty useless to the Nuggets, they would need more incentive.
Doubt the Magic would give him that much money either.

Providing Smith can stay away from trouble. J.R Smith and Drose would be the one of the most explosive back courts in the league. They go to the finals for a while if they make this happen.

As a Bulls fan I'm very interested in JR; a lot of our fans are, although some are scared off by the "knucklehead" label. It's anyone's guess as to whether our front office will target him given his mixture of talent and questionable past.

If the new CBA allows for an MLE, I expect us to pursue JR and/or Jason Richardson. I could see New Jersey, Minnesota or Indiana giving JR more than the MLE, though, depending on how things work out.
(Indy will probably try to get OJ Mayo first, but if that doesn't work out they're going to want a #1 scoring option so that Danny Granger can be #2.)

If Indy throws more then MLE money at JR thinking that he will become their number 1 option, they will probably be in for a big disappointment. Because of how streaky he is, he is more suited as a 2nd or 3rd option. Teams need a more dependable threat as the number 1 option imo.

Then again, he is still young and has never been handed the keys to a role like that, so it might be what he needs at this stage of his career, but I don't see it and I am a big JR homer.

The Celtics would be back in the running for number 18 with JR coming of the bench for ray at SG . He could also take some of Pauls minutes at SF. There would be no pressure on him and we would benefit with Rondo;s speed and assists on he transition. Rondo, Green and Green could make a impact and could start at some point. I just see JRs scoring impact like aHarden of the bench able to create offense of the dribble. Doc's a players couch and JR will feel comfortable. His role will be very defined in

Jr is better then harden, and is more then likely where Brooks got the idea to bring harden off the bench

While even the Nuggets fan base is split on love/hate for Jr, he is a very talented player, and if given the right structure he is going to make someone a hell of a player long term.

i don't think jr can mature until his 30's so until then, he'll be the same guy that saves you one moment in the game and then screws it up in the next.

Yeah...a lot of interest (and concern) in Chicago....

I was never a big fan of Smith because he is such a knucklehead.....but.....I'm now one of his biggest backers. I do want Chicago to go after him.

Chicago could bring back the entire roster from a 62 win season...and drop Smith right into the starting line-up.

"If" he buys in, plays smart, and plays D.....he could really alter the course of his career. Playing SG for a title contending Bulls team is a nice look for any young player....

Whoever started the Jr smith getting locked up that's false info we on the beach!!

Jr's brother is saying it did not happen, and truthfully if it would have happened, then how is it nobody has any details? And the only proof is a blurry photo shoot from a distance to great to even be clear that it is Jr.

Someone got arrested and it wouldn't surprise me if it was Earl, but if it wasn't, I am glad

they had cuffs on him in that pic and all because of scootering?

what the ****?

fact: the most damage done by a scooter was the destruction of a pineapple fruit stand.
