I watched this game live and then later the full replay, a few things jumped out:
Ty and Afflalo were just horrible, like they were too scared to shoot. They played hot potato with the ball with eachother, and the shots they did take were just bricks. In 52 mins, they finished a combined 1/14 FGs for 6 points, 3 rebs and 2 asts.
The only reason Brewer shot the ball 15 times, is because he was given the ball countless times with the shot clock winding down, or was forced to shoot a contested jumper. However, he did attack the rim over and over, and he made some great passes in the key to Koufos. In 35 high energy mins, he had 7 rebs, 4 asts, 5 stls and 9 pts. He hustled all night long and really gave 100% effort.
Faried/Koufos did play well and I hope Faried gets more minutes
Rudy started off great but clearly hurt his back in the 3rd quarter.
Al/Miller were very ordinary, forced shots, turned the ball over and just looked to complacent.
