Portland @ Denver - Let's go Nuggets!

Post#1 » by KAVK » Wed Feb 29, 2012 2:15 am

Hope Karl learns from the first half and adjust his rotation not to over burn our vets and uses fresh eager youngsters till we get our regular guys back and not too soon.

Chandler or not this team is more than equipped to push for 4-8 seed in the playoff and make some noise if healthy. Let's go Nuggets.

I agree. Karl should not play Dre and Harrington more than 20-25 mins each as we have Brewer, Faried, Hamilton, Stone and Rudy all ready to play. The more rest the vets get now, the better we will play in the post season.

Having Gallo and Nene back is crucial, especially with a 9 game home stretch in March. If Nuggets can win 65% of our remaining games we could finish in the Top 8. Considering everyone is healthy soon, I would like to see minutes be:

C - Mozzy - 18, Koufos - 16, Nene - 14
PF - Nene - 14, Harrington - 20, Faried - 14
SF - Gallo - 30, Brewer - 18
SG - Afflalo - 30, Rudy - 18
PG - Ty - 30, Dre - 18

There is no reason why any player should be averaging above 30 mpg when we are 10 deep.

Gallo, Rudy and Nene are out...Ty is in.

A calf Nene? Get ya a$s back on the court. At least when the Nuggets payed K-Mart big bucks he made an effort to get on the court. He missed time when his knee was in shambles. A few more games out and I say Nene should go on the block.

Nice going. Faried & Hamilton all over the place, good to see our rookies are getting it done.

insane rebounding numbers. 54 total 21 offensive. koufos, harrington, faried, and mozzy combined 40.

great win, glad to have 1/4 injured back.

Loved the hustle. It is nice to see the rebounding.

Nice win. Koufos / Mozgov held his ground well and Faried was energetic. I wouldn't rush Nene back with our bigs playing effective.

Rudy just needs to be kept on the far end of the bench seriously this Hamilton kid is pretty decent.

Karl needs to stop finishing games with Andre Miller.

That's already lost us a few games and it's going to lose us playoffs games.

yeah it seems rudy is going to get the short end of the stick.

but with karl you never know.

maybe he'll just play all 12 players for 20 minutes each.

Some numbers from the bigs:

C - Koufos/Mosgov - 22 pts, 20 reb, 6 blocks
PF - Faried/Harrington - 26 pts, 20 reb, 1 block

Dang, not bad.
