Cleveland (13-23) @ Denver (22-17) - Protect THE TURF!

Post#1 » by KAVK » Wed Mar 7, 2012 11:48 am

Cleveland had couple very good games recently and mentally they are still in it. Watch out for Kyrie Irving and Antawn Jamison. Our lack of respect to our foe and care to the game almost cost us a game and hopefully guys are taken their lesson and rested to come out strong.

One game at the time. Let's get going!

somebody needs to punch jamison in the nads. he nearly has half their points.

just play defense in the 2nd and we get this.

Looking bit fatigued out there. Gallo is tentative little bit.

Big Al having a very decent game, I would put in Faried at 3 though to finish it off, Gallo is not really participating all the way.

Worst season since 06-07.

Cant believe it. Nothing has changed since the Melo era. Still a first round exit team and we will remain one until Karl goes.

That last play by Kyrie was just ridiculous, the Nuggets D was inexistent during that play.

I feel safer when Koufos, Faired, Mozgov in the middle rotating rather than Nene + Al just scares the sh#t out of me mostly.

Ridiculous losing last night's game... When the BLEEP are they going to starting playing real basketball on their home court??? A mediocre YMCA team beats the Cavs last night- I think the league should take away the Nuggets participation ribbons for playing last night. They all should be embarrassed with that effort

I'd love to hear the logic behind the defense on that last play. Why the hell would you full court press Kyrie Irving with more than 10 seconds left? Obviously he's going to blow right past Afflalo.

yea, i didn't understand that at all either. i suppose the justification would be that the cavs are a young team and by pressuring them in that situation karl was trying to get them to make a mistake....

but really, it was plain stupid. sit back, set up the halfcourt defense, and force one of those young guys to make a difficult contested jumpshot. letting them drive for nearly uncontested layups on all those possessions was pathetic.

al is just terrible defender, he barely leaves his feet for one. him being out for defensive purposes during the last play is ridiculous.

i hope karl had learned from tony parker's charades against harrington, but no. instead, he let it happen 4 times in a row. this was just a wasted game.
