Wow. Masai sure changed his mind on Nene's contract pretty quick. McGee is an idiot, but he's talented as hell, it'll be interesting to see what Karl can do with him.

Also gotta believe this means a contract with Chandler is coming soon.

Youth movement, clearly. Ty, Afflalo, Gallo, Faried, McGee is the future. Clears cap space and gives flexibility BUT - we need an early pick to take advantage. At least McGee is only 24 and a true 7ftr, maybe Karl can teach him something that Washington couldn't...

Moot point. Denver also needs to re-sign McGee who will probably want Nene's contract.

From a contending pov this is a bad trade. But I understand this deal. We arent getting out of the first round anyway, may as well do it with all young guys.
