Is Gallinari injury prone or just lazy?

First of all, let me say that he is one of my favorite players when 100% healthy. He has the potential to be Manu Ginobili 2.0 at SF.

That said, he has missed around 2 months for the past two seasons with toe, foot, ankle and wrist injuries.

Next season with a full 82 game schedule, if he misses around 2 months again with various injuries...should we look into trading him? His value is still high.

Another question that popped into my mind, is he just being lazy? Meaning, since he cashed in on that 4 year contract...he is just 'milking' his injuries? Looking at his twitter account, he does write, "go denver...great win" and what not after every win.

I don't know...

Like Manu Ginobili he plays erractically and wrecklessly -- and like Manu, he is frequently injured, possibly due to his style of play.

I wouldn't say that Gallo is lazy, just unlucky. A badly rolled ankle, and they found a chipped bone. He attempted to block a layup, and hit his hand on the backboard - freak accidents. I believe that he's a hard worker, and he's a loveable guy - twitter is just a way of interacting with fans.

I think Gallo has the potential to be a 20 ppg scorer, and with a healthy season next year, maybe an All Star.

Speaking of injuries, Coach GK is refusing to comment on Wilson Chandlers MRI results until a team statement is made

I bet he is done for the season and he requires surgery. The Nuggets have had terrible luck with handing out money and dealing with injuries:

Gallo - signed new contract, injured, missed several games
Nene - signed new contract, injured, traded
Rudy - dealt from Dallas, back injury, surgery
Chandler - signed new contract, injured, surgery??
Afflalo - signed new contract - missed some games
Koufos - signed new contract, missed several games

Imagine if we had a full healthy squad for 66 games = best record in the West!

Gallo has a long history of injuries.
Nene has a long history of nursing minor injuries
rudy has a long history of back problems
Chandler was not exactly the picture of health once he got here last year.

Notice a trend here? The Nuggets have a long history of giving injury prone players bad contracts, and then wondering why they have injury problems.

Game time decision as far as I have heard, but I would be expecting it, and if he does it will probably take him a couple of days to be productive as he has been out a month this time.

Would you guys trade him for Toromto's pick? Possibly pick up one of the PFs at the top of this draft to pair with McGee... I mean you guys already have Chandler as a starting caliber SF..
