Interesting read on Brewer

Found this article and have to agree with it:

Whilst Brewer doesn't have the scoring capability or the ability to create his own shot as well as Jason Terry, Brewer does have the skill set to change the game, score points in a hurry, disrupt the oppositions passing lanes, defend their best scorer, defend 3-4 positions and always brings energy/hustle to the table. Last season with the Mav's he was instrumental in their Game One victory over the Lakers during the Playoffs.

Also, over the Nuggets last 6 wins, Brewer has chipped in nicely with 60% FG, 75% FT, 13 assists with just 3 TOs and 10.7 ppg. He has cut down his outside shooting and is developing a nice chemistry with Al, Dre and McGee off the bench.

He is vital to a deep Playoff run and can make a game changing play. Lets hope GK uses him the right way. I see him as the X Factor and will be called upon to guard the likes of Kobe, Durant, Westbrook, Manu, Parker, CP3, Mo Williams.

Did that article really call Jason Terry a defensive stopper? Did I miss something there?

As for Brewer, he has been a great surprise this year. He probably would have sat on the bench all year if not for injuries along the way, but he made the best of his opportunities and I could see him being a main reason that we move Wilson Chandler in the off season. If you have watched any of the Association series, they have a portion that Karl gushes over Brewer being the emotional leader of the team because of the energy and hustle that he brings the rest of the team when he comes in. Hopefully he continues his play of late into the playoffs because he can be a difference maker with the things he does.
