BENCH: Steve Blake, Jordan Hill, Matt Barnes

KEY MATCHUP:

INJURY REPORT:
Denver: Fernandez - Back, Chandler - Hip, Harrington - Nose
L.A.: World Peace - Suspended

We're capable of winning one more right? And Karl constantly playing Harrington at the 5 in important stretches speaks of how successful he is as a playoffs coach.

I wouldn't shed a tear if this ended up being GK's last game as Nuggets coach.

I'm very glad you don't run the team. You think it's an accident this team is in the playoffs every year, even when they totally blow up the team mid year? He got a flawed but very talented team a hair's breadth from the finals, and now he's taking a promising but under-experienced and ultimately under-talented team and getting an awful lot out of it. Who would you hire to replace him?

Here we go...

Do you watch this team play? Do you watch other teams play? Terrible lineup's, and very few plays are executed. During his tenure the Nuggets have NEVER been able to execute in the half court. (Aside from when Billups had the ball). Playoff basketball is execution in the half court. The talent alone has gotten this team into the playoffs every year (Melo), it's not like Karl has taken the talent and turned it into something more.

Without Chauncey Billups Karl is 9-31 in the postseason aside from 2009....

It's the SAME result every year with GK, THE SAME. He gets out coached by the opponent every time. We get bounced, change the players around and round and round we go.

You don't think 9-31 warrants a change?

i'm with you, i've had the same thoughts on Karl for years. He manages pretty good teams throughout the regular season but come playoff time George Karl really does not do well. His rotations 80% of the time are horrid and he tends to let certain players shoot us out of tight games. With all of our fresh young talent i think it's time we move on with the coaching staff.

I agree that, if you disregard his accomplishments, he does not seem very accomplished. But why in the world would I not count the year when he had the team a hair's breadth from playing for the championship?

You're right, we should extend Karl cause he gets out of the first round 11% of the time Denver makes the playoffs. Certainly can't find another coach that can do that.

Cancer is a 8itch, we all know someone that's had to battle it, I don't wish it upon anyone.....That being said I think Karl would have been gone by now had he not had his health complications. I think being around the game helped him recover and that's great but that doesn't mean he should earn a lifetime job.

Al Harrington is a huge cancer to this team.

Needs to be amnestied in the offseason.

Firing Karl....lol

Back IT on the game, the Nuggets should be up by 15 at the half. Good effort but stupid mistakes are very costly.

Al is great at what he does...stretching the floor and defending bigs in the post. Not bad for a bench player.

this would be a 15+ point lead if we didn't absolutely butcher the last 2 minutes of the first and second quarters.

i'm okay with that if he keeps this kind of play up and avoids going back to full moron mode.

Congrats on your win, guys.

Lots of pressure on L.A. now. I'd love to see you guys ruin their season.

Agreed. He has looked ok during this playoffs series and i guess he has earned a good paycheck this summer.
