So that leaves ty and gallo which means they can pack an extra guy in the paint. I hate to say it cause I love faried. But you need to move gallo to the 4 keep koufus for rebounding and start a shooter at the 3. It will open up the whole court. Chandler or hamilton starting and faried coming off the bench will make this team look 10 times better. If iggy is in you need a shooter playing the 4. If iggy is out play faried. So simple I dunno why karl doesn't see it. Chandler hit a 3 to start the third... When gallo was playing the 4 and we starting playing our best quarter so far, its cause the driving lanes opened up wide. Of course then karl trots out a lineup of miller, iggy, brewer, chandler, faried to start the 4th and the floodgates open again lol.
What you say makes sense to me, but I don't know if it's only about moving some players in a different position...
The Nuggets played like a sparring partner most of the game, in a ridicoulus way. Anybody have no idea of what to do, except Gallo and the seasoned Miller. The game is not only run and run, most of the time: sometime you can't do it and you need a B-plan... and the right guys for that.
Koufus is a bench player, and Mozgov too. Faried is undersized and without a decent offensive move. McGee is a joke. Big Baby abused them. (We had the right kind of 5 for this team, but they moved him, to offer a big contract to McGee: they risk to gamble away). Chandler is completely out of shape and Brewer seems lost if the team can't run. And Iggy, I'm afraid, is such as a one-dimension player.
The team needs first a plausible center: McGee could be that one? Then, I agree with you, I would play Gallo at 4, he's big enough for D this spot and he wont run out of steam like yesterday guarding a small 3. I agree one more time, we need a reliable shooter at 3, if playing Iggy at 2, but Chandler is not that kind of player and Brewer is only good for the bench.
So it sounds like we are still missing two big pieces in the puzzle.
