Free E Fournier & A Randolph Please?

Post#1 » by cjx » Sun Dec 9, 2012 9:20 pm

Can someone tell me why the Nuggets aren't utilizing Fournier and Randolph? Are they injured? I think both can be solid contributors with more playing time. Thanks for your response.

Right now, Fournier is a 3rd String PG behind Ty and Miller, but he does get the odd few minutes here and there, and when he plays, he's actually not too bad. He looks confident and in a year or two will get decent minutes (maybe elsewhere).

AR is a 3rd string backup PF to Faried/Gallo. On offense he rushes shots, dribbles too much and try's to create plays when he should just pass the ball to the PG. On defense he is quick and can blocks shots. But we haven't seen enough of him to really judge.

Unless an injury happens, neither of these two will get significant minutes, just as Jordan Hamilton.

Agreed out of all the guys on the bench Hamilton is the one who brings what the team needs, and he has kept a good attitude despite having his minutes jerked around by Karl. He should be out there 12-15 mpg right now.

yea I keep hearing all this chandler trade talk. Thinking with a GM hat for a lot of other teams... I'd be calling on Hamilton. Just because someone puts on a positive front doesn't mean in the back of their heads they are pining for a way out of town. Hamilton is smart and knows he's on his rookie deal and has zero leverage.

Verily, put J Hamilton in the starting lineup, give Fournier 11 mpg, and give Randolph 5 mpg, does that sound good to you, compeers?

Not starting lineup...

Drop Brewer's minutes to that of an energy player's minutes (or don't play play him at all) to 10-12 mpg. Limit Andre Miller's minutes to that of a true backup PG and the rest of the minutes goes to Hamilton.

No way. Fournier is not ready at all. D-league more likely. He probably would end up there if we had more bodies. Randolph HELL no. He might show flashes of some talent before. Not anymore. China is his next stop.

Free Jordan Hamilton!

We need a pure scorer, our team just looks so lost on the offensive end. He has shown he can fill that role well in the minutes that he gets. Karl needs to give this kid more time, he has only improved with the time on the court he does get.
