Need to avoid 6-8, I want no part of the West's big 3.

Otherwise, I'm ok with Memphis or Golden State in the first round.

I'm interested to see how Memphis plays after this Rudy Gay trade. It may take a little while to gel, but have a feeling they're going to be a better team.

Either way, I still like our chances of getting the 4th seed. We already have the tie breaker over Golden State and we can win the tiebreaker over Memphis in March when they come to Denver.

Right now I'd say the odds they finish #4 are about 65%. The nuggets have been excellent, but GSW has been pretty good too. I don't see the Grizz holding up their record.

Depends on health and if there are any trades.

Golden State has to worry about Curry and Bogut health, but I think would have the inside track to getting the 4 seed if they remain healthy.

Denver certainly has a very good chance as well.

I think Memphis will have the hardest time.

SA Vs. Houston
OKC Vs Utah
LAC Vs. GS
and
Den Vs. Memphis

Why, because that makes for a good 1st round in the West.

it's like same market team vs. same market team

I can also see Denver getting out of the first round this year.

The FO can't tinker with this team much if they are pushing for 4th. Gotta have chemistry

Currently on 5th seed and tied with the grizzlies for 4th!!! We just need the grizzlies to lose and we'd climb to the 4th seed. By the way, very happy they traded their best player imo rudy gay. If we face the grizzlies in the first round or ven the warriors, we should get out of the first round.

why can't we race for #3 seed?

only 2.5 games back of LA, and playing way better basketball. (8-2 vs. 3-7 in last 10)

Well apparently the Clippers are a lottery team without Chris Paul. They have a much more difficult schedule the rest of the way and we still play them once more (in Denver). We can definitely grab that 3rd seed.

Also, the Grizzlies are in Atlanta and the Warriors are in OKC tonight. We should have sole possession of the #4 seed by the end of the night.

That #3 seed is looking obtainable. It is going to take a full season of great play. Or maybe not depending on CP3. It's a real shame Paul is down, he's such a good player. That said, the clips really suffer without him.
