Good Job Nuggets FO

They inquired to the Celtics about KG. KG as of now is still not willing to waive his no-trade clause. But major kudos to our FO for doing their job. A domino in Pierce getting moved may have to fall... but still kudos to the FO and they should keep on it til the deadline.

Still need to bring in a shooter though.

Can't rely on Gallo being the only jumpshooter on the team.

bobcats fans would like to give us Hendo for Mozgov & Miller. Historically not a great shooter but he's making them selectively this year.

Henderson would be ok but is about 3-4 down my list of rumored players, Reddick and Vince Carter would be who i'd be calling everyday.

I love the thinking of the Nuggs front office... I said to another poster, one that i talk to outside the forums, that the nuggets could use a guy like KG.. a tough minded, leader, one that understands how to survive playoff series.. guys like Mcgee and faried can really learn from him, add gallo into that mix as well.. I hope they can pull off a deal, not sure what it will take to get him from boston tho... what will denver have to give up?

McGee and Rondo would be a nice pairing for their future. We are talking about taking on a guy who could retire this summer... so names like Faried, Gallo, Lawson and probably others likely aren't on the table. Garnett would have to play the 5 in denver.

So names like McGee, Mozgov... and maybe if the Celtics were smart they could find a way to get Hamilton included. If I was Danny I'd be demanding McGee and Hamilton.

sorry, was there anything more to this than a kiszla column that got blown out of proportion.

not like anybody with any media legitimacy said anything about the nuggets/celtics talking, right?

Of course not, and I am sure the Nuggets just like the 29 NBA calls every team when there are rumors or possible reasons that a decent player that could improve their team may be available just to try and upgrade on the cheap.

Oh common guys this got leaked to the media that the Nuggets want KG... and they called on him. Even better they didn't leak the names of any nuggets players in the deal. What more can you ask for guys. There is a good chance KG waives his no trade... because of their record if things go down hill or a pierce trade.

Like Rebel said every team is gonna call about KG. The fact that he won't waive his NTC makes this a pipe-dream. He won't change his mind in 2 weeks. Plus the C's are play well without Rondo

According to the Paul Pierce interview he doesn't want to be around for a rebuild and didn't shut down the possibility of a trade. So it'd be a domino effect... once pierce goes... then KG has no reason to hang around.
