Just got back from the Mike Tyson monologue show.....Box scores shows Gallo got back on track and Dre Miller carried the bench.

Defense needs to pick it up for the playoffs. Even if you factor the pace in, it's still not that great. Potentially they could be a top 5 defensive team. They led the league in defensive ratings for a couple of months after the Melo trade, they basically upgraded the SG position since defensively with one of the, if not the best perimeter defender in the league. They should be much better than that.

They also downgraded defensively in many other positions.
Martin, JR (not sure why he has a bad defender rep), Nene, Felton -> Faried, Brewer, McGee, Miller
At this point and heading into the playoffs, our defense is pretty much Iguodala.

Dre carried the team throughout much of the 4th, they had a nice lead and then just seemed to run out of gas before Andre started with his drives, I honestly do not know how he gets to the rim as slow as he looks, but he did it several times when the Nuggets desperately needed a bucket.

According to synergy sports Gallo is actually a better defender the Iggy, and Koufos is no slouch. Now Faried and McGee both leave a lot to be desired on that end, and with Miller on the court so much with those 2 the Nuggets have a problem
