ACL is absolutely the worst case scenario.

Not only will he miss the playoffs, he'll also miss most if not all of next season which is terrible for his development.

Another concerning thing is that this gives Iggy a reason to walk in the off season and if he does walk, would it be better off to go for Wiggins?

Has there ever been a case where the MRI didn't confirm the general consensus of a torn ACL.....F ck

Man, it really hurt to watch him go down like that. This team looked so poised to make a playoff run too. I think we can still win in the 1st round without Gallinari, but anything past that will be difficult.

I guess this is our chance to show off the great depth everyone's been talking about. Does this open up the door for Fournier, Hamilton or Randolph to prove their worth? Or is Karl just going to give Brewer 35 minutes a night and the rest to Chandler?

Hate to see this. With Lawson already hurting, your playoffs were already looking a bit worse, now this is just straight up unfair. I was hoping to see an OKC vs. DEN series in the 2nd round or conference finals. This really sucks for you guys. :(

How would the Nuggets "go for Wiggins"?

This is horrible news, I know the depth is a great thing but with Brewer being the only guy that has been getting playing time at the 3 outside of Iggy and Gallo the Nuggets could be in trouble.

Man, I had hopes that the Nuggets would go deep this year and they just ended. Undoubtedly he feels a lot worse about it. Nothing like throwing your career up in the air right before a promising playoff season.

For the sake of this team Jordan Hamilton deserves a real chance out there. With Gallo down with something real serious... he'll be out for a long time... and will he be the same?.... it is time the young guy got a real shot. We could sure use his shooting. My preference would be to see Hamilton have a real shot to earn the starting 3 spot and have Chandler and Brewer be the punch off the bench. I am probably kidding myself... but giving Hamilton and opportunity to step up and drill open 3s is what is BEST for the TEAM right now.

We have some "hidden" talent on this team. Brewer can't give us that long-range shot in the arm we need. Hamilton is the guy.

I want Hamilton playing too but I just can't see it.

Karl already gave extended minutes to Brewer and used Fournier + Randolph off the bench.

So what's the best case scenario on an injury like this? Back by the all-star break of next season? What a **** day.

Bulls fan here. Really sad to see Gallo go down with a torn ACL. I love the way you guys play and Gallo's injury is a tough break. I know how long the road to recovery can be -- seeing Derrick Rose still not back nearly 12 full months after his injury.

I expect Gallo to be back by January and back to his old self by mid-February.
