Yes, I'd say the Nugz matchup very well well vs the warriors, but I'm wondering how many of you realize just how insane Oracle can/will be during the playoffs. SERIOUSLY, the Nugz will have never seen anything like it. Ask the 07 (#1 seed) Mavs how they matched up and how they did against the #8 seed W's?

The W's aren't the best team in the league, but they undoubtedly have the best fans in the league and they can make a difference in playoff games.

If i had a choice, i would rather play Houston in the first round since Curry is one that can give us nightmares and the thought of Andre Miller chasing him and Jack around scares me.

But upon looking at team stats (ORTG, DRTG, SRS, their record vs above .500 teams suck etc.) the Warriors are a step below all but the Lakers of West playoff teams so this may even be a better matchup for us objectively.

Denver has played at Energy Solutions and Staples in the playoffs before, in fact not so long ago, so I wouldn't say the Nuggets have "never seen anything like it".

curry worries me if he has one of those 8/12 nights from 3 and energizes the rest of the team/arena in the process.

but i think our D's good enough and the teams poised enough, and we get enough easy paint points that an early run can quiet the crowd and take them out of the game.

people say the nuggets are a bad road team, being sub .500 and all.....but i'd say that stems more from playing down to some competition and a hard early schedule than whats to come in the playoffs.

they beat OKC in a super-intense game with a big crowd. beat memphis in a similar situation when fighting for playoff positioning. beat san antonio. beat golden state in double OT in a pretty intense game. chicago in OT.

You want to talk about home court advantage against a team with the best home record in the league, that also has home court advantage for the series? Not to mention the season series is 3-1 in the Nuggets favor, but keep believing the Nuggets should be scared.

fwiw, the only team that was 38-3 or better at home and didn't at least make the nba finals were the 08-09 cavs who lost in the ECFs

Denver hasn't faced the Dubs with Bogut in the lineup.

Seriously, just what I thought. The Nuggets have one of the most raucous crowd in the NBA. He should've waited for the warriors to sneak a win at pepsi center before he posted this. lmao

Not sure if it was in DEN or in OAK where Klay blew the game, but this series should have been 2-2. Also the 3 wins came in the first month when we didnt have bogut. I would say alot has changed since then on both sides.

Nuggs are playing great basketball, but could injuries lead to their fall or will players rise up
Dubz are playing good also with a healthy center for the most part and a much better Thompson than Nov

true but we were .2 seconds away from a sweep. you guys were missed fts away from a tie. big difference.

we also didnt have chandler and fournier playing at their current level back then.

finally, since around jan 1 we are playing 60 win ball. golden state around 40 win ball. maybe they wish it was still 2012 because all the changes arent in GS favor.

I think the biggest difference will be Bogut. ie: Chandler (NYK) had a career highs in NY with a lineup that didn't include Lee and Bogut and look what happened when they played them again in Oracle. I think/hoping Faried will have a tough time getting offensive boards with Bogut clogging the lane.

I keep seeing all this hype about Bogut, fact is Bogut is still not healthy, and will have a horrible time trying to keep up with the Nuggets bigs, he just does not have the foot speed.

One thing that Warriors fans seem to be missing is that Chandler was out for all but one of those games, and the one he played in also happened to be his 1st one back after missing almost 1 1/2 seasons of NBA ball, yet he still put up 14 and 6 in just over 20 mpg. People do not seem to understand that Chandler is actually the Nuggets top scorer per minute that plays important minutes, but he is also efficient and is a very good defender all around and maybe a very good defender to keep on David Lee throughout the game.

Also if Fournier plays like he has over the last few games, he is another difference maker that will cause the Warriors huge problems as not only can he hit outside shots very well, he is another play maker on both ends that will help Lawson and Iggy confuse the Warriors defense.

Their only chance is for Curry to badly outplay Lawson. TY LAWSON.

To put something else in perspective, since Christmas Denver are 42-11, GSW is 29-25.

We really couldn't ask for a better matchup of West teams. Even the Lakers look more scary.

The Nuggets have not yet seen the Stephen Curry they are about to see. Don't get me wrong, Lawson is really good and will give Curry and the Warriors trouble. But don't judge on what you've seen in the 4 games this year, those were all before Curry flipped the switch and became a different player. He's at a whole different level now, doing things he did not before.

However, I do sort of agree that Bogut may not be a huge factor in this series. As mentioned, his health is still questionable, he can't run fast (in what's likely to be a fast-paced series), and between his mediocre conditioning and the thin air, fatigue will be a factor.

Denver will probably still win the series, but I doubt it's going to be as easy as you think.

The Nuggets are going to DESTROY them. They will just ploy right through them. The caged animal Javale Mcgee will just be monstrous, The Manimal will just be dominating, offensive rebounds, blocks and steals and energy will just overwhelm the Warriors. Wilson Chandler, Andre Igudala, Ty Lawson. I'm worried about Andre though. He has been playing terribly since Ty got back. I don't think he should be getting 26 minutes a game anymore, but i know Karl will play him.
