Sure is nice when we stop playing small.

I like Karl's decision to start McGee and feed him the ball early. It really helped open things up for Iguodala and Chandler in that first half. Not sure where McGee was in the second half though...

Props to Iggy for stepping up finally. We're gonna need that from him every game if we want to take this series.

should have played the lineup in the 4th that karl started the game with.

as the game went on, karl kept adjusting smaller and smaller with more and more andre miller to match jackson's tiny linups....for some reason.

and they got better and better...

Ya'll really going at it in the general board. Corona you make a wonderful point about Karl getting smaller and smaller and the warriors getting back into the game.

Truth is I don't have much faith Karl can coach the Nuggets to two more wins. We still don't defend the shooters well and GK's rotations are terrible. Our only hope is that they go into a shooting slump

side note, i can't believe some of the talk coming from the press conference about how we were intentionally trying to hurt Curry.

If only George Karl ever bothered to lobby for his team. Phil Jackson ran these circles around GK every time they played.

Does anyone think Mark Jackson's rant is actually going to result in them getting the better whistle next game?

I think that kind of thing works if it's coming from Phil Jackson or Pop or hell, maybe even Karl. But I don't think calling our team dirty is going to going to do anything coming from a rookie coach in his first playoff series ever, especially when GS was the one called for multiple flagrant fouls.

I don't know, but if you listen to Curry's comments he did not help Jackson's case. Curry says that the Warriors have been doing the same thing all series that the Nuggets did tonight.

The poor warriors, the Nuggets are being just as physical as they have been all series, and the refs had the nerve to call fouls on both ends of the court, what will they ever do?

Good lord. Am I the only one who thinks Warriors fans (and coaches, and players) look like the biggest pussies on the planet right now?

Been a long time reader of this site. Long time Warrior's fan as well. Not happy with the loss, but I like how we responded down the stretch to make it close.
Felt the need to finally make an account after reading post after post from Rebel. Apparently new users can't post there until 100 days so here I am reading more of Rebel.

You constantly mention how Bogut never fouls called against. Are you serious man? Have you watched any of the games? Bogut is good for at least 1 or 2 offensive fouls a game for screens. I have never seen a fan base complain so much about "illegal" screens. Every big man does it, except apparently McGee and Faried.

My question to you: What do you think of the the Nugget's perimeter defense? They sure seem to be able to play much more physically then I have seen from most other teams around the league. Igoudala and Brewer constantly reaching and hacking, yet Curry is the one who gets whistled for weak touch fouls.

Regarding the "hunting of Curry", I'm not sure what Faried's intentions were, nor will I pretend to know what he meant to do. For all your criticism's of Mark Jackson's postgame conference, did you happen to hear what George Karl said about Draymond Green? Asking if he was a football player? I felt that was a little strange, as I read your post above about the "poor complaining Warriors", yet your coach is crying over Draymond Green? I see Bogut and Green retaliations against Faried, makes me think they had a good close up view of what he was trying to do to Curry. I saw you or one of the other major Nuggets fans posted about how you're tired of Curry acting like a fake tough guy? Please elaborate on this for me. Curry doesn't need to be a "fake tough guy", because hes got Andrew "only person in NBA who sets illegal screens" Bogut and Draymond "Linebacker at Michigan State" Green who have his back.

Didn't mean to go Old Rem on you with the length, but wow, I have never seen a Mod be such a homer, yet try to insult others intelligence levels. Obviously this is an exciting series and I wish you luck in beating us at Oracle on Thursday, but just try to take an objective look at things. Realize why the Warrior's fans get upset at Curry's ankles potentially being targeted. (We don't go to the playoffs often, a point that you bring up many times, as if the Nuggets 8 first round exits out of 9 is such a great track record despite having Melo for so long.)

Mark Jackson is an idiot. When the Warriors played the Rockets, and the Rockets were about to set the record in 3 pointers made, he pretty much sent out out his bench goons to go rough up the other guys. No different than what Denver did last night. I also thought that hit that Draymond Green put on Faried is deserving of suspension. He basically just attempted to tackle Faried.

I was afraid to watch. Drama is the last thing I thought I'd miss.

1 or 2 offensive fouls when the Warriors bigs do it every single play does not make it fair, fact is the Warriors shooters are getting so open, because the Warriors bigs are moving, grabing, pushing, and triping Nuggets defenders on every single play.

As far as the Nuggets, I wish they could get away with half the moving screens that Bogut and company do, I have a feeling the warriors fans would really cry then though.

Yes Brewer is as bad about hacking as Curry is, fact is that is both of their defensive strategy, why is that such a surprise? What I do want to know though is why does Curry stop getting called for fouls at 4? It has happened twice now in this series, and last night Koufos get a technical called against him for allowing Curry to push him in the back.

By the way I do not mind games getting physical, I mind the refs not calling the fouls the same for both teams, the nuggets are going out of their way to ensure their screens are set proper screens, yet they have been called for more moving screens, tell me how that is possible. By the way I am not the only one who has mentioned the moving screens, go read the game threads on the general board, several unbiased fans mention the same thing.

See this is where we are going to have a problem, you need to take a step back and realize who the homer is being. Really you think asking if someone played basketball or football in college, is the same as saying that a team is playing dirty and sending hitmen after someone is even close? As I have stated numerous times if someone wanted to take out Curry it is easy just step under him on a jumpshot.

AS far as Denver's track record, look up how many teams have made the playoffs 10 years straight, regardless of what happens in the playoffs that is an accomplishment, as far as having Melo making a difference, how has he done in New York?

By the way for all this holier then thou **** from Jackson and Warrior's fans, did you coach not send out a player to intentionally rough up a Rockets player just a few weeks ago, and then in the press conference brag about how he is old school?

Maybe Rebel u need to watch that whole game. The Rockets clearly had the game won. And they continued to rub it in. Their rookie made some highlight play when he could have held onto the ball. The Dubs are trying to change the atmosphere of being a pushover club. Basically they said we are not going to have your team break the 3pt record against us tonight. And if Draymond is dirty. But he's old school. But jackson didn't put a hit on anyone. The rookie play was uncalled for.

the only example i can think of were the organization was involved wih encouraging injuries was in the NFL. The NBA is a business so Ken Faried, Curry, or anyone (Kobe) going down is a bad thing. Nobody wants to see anyone get injured on either side. Mark Jackson does need to shut up. He's trying to play this verbal game to get Curry as much ref protection as he can. The refs are already going out of their way to keep him from getting too many fouls and keeping him on the floor... so again Mark Jackson can say what he wants... but he is as full of BS as anyone.
