So, what did you see that you liked in last night's loss?

Yes, I know. It is "just" an exhibition game and the Shaw is just trying to install his offense and defense and find out who he thinks will deserve rotation play.
But there was so much NOT to like.
First and foremost was the PG play. Again we know that many think Paul is the best PG in the league. That does not change the fact that he and fell 6'0" PG Collison annihilated their similarly sized counterparts Lawson and Miller, 67 points in 73 combined minutes to 22 points in 63 minutes. Which brings up the question, why was Dre, by far, the leader in minutes played? Was it because he is the only PG that could run the offense, with 7 assists to 0 TOs compared to 3 assists and 5 TOs for Lawson?
Then there was the good and bad scenario of Fournier's play. Good, because he was 6-9 shooting with 3-4 on 3s for 16 points while chipping in with 3 assists. Bad, because in just 19 minutes of play, he led the team with 7 rebounds while all of the frontcourt players who played got from 4 to 9 more minutes and couldn't get more than 5 boards.
Also, Foye's continued poor shooting, particularly his 3 point specialty, will hopefully find him sitting on the bench watching Fournier start at SG.
Then there was McGee who has yet to show he is in any way deserving of being handed the starting center job with Mozgov not looking to be that much worse a choice.
I guess everyone would just attribute the 22 TOs to everyone getting to know each other as well as getting comfortable with the offensive scheme but it still does not bode well for Ty to only manage 3 assists to 5 TOs.
As I prefaced this critique, I understand that it is just pre-season. I still find ironic, with all the change of philosophy and new players, to watch a game in which the Nugz score 111 points yet lose while shooting just 6-18 - that "dreadfully weak" 33% - from 3 point range.
