If Ty is out, who gets the start? Nate provides a spark, which might be better suited coming off the bench, but his offense may be needed with the starters.

Either way, I'm pretty stoked for the season to finally get under way.

Amundson and Camby waived. Don't see an opening in current squad, but possible future configurations maybe. That is if Camby's got anything left in the tank. Just commenting because it seems an awful lot of well known names are being waived around the league not just those two. Usually it's just the unknowns getting a pass, but looks like there has been an overflow of talent on many teams this season.

Anyway, back to reality!

I'm the optimistic sort, so I would say run it with Nate and Fournier. Just cut to the chase: it's early, Evan needs a shot to step up, and when Ty is back just slide everyone around to where they've earned it or best fit.

*note that would be the more adventurous take on the starting lineup

Fwiw I expect the starters to be Lawson/Nate-Foye-Randolph-Hickson-McGee

Putting Fournier was more of hope. Wasn't happy with the Foye signing, even less happy after his preseason. Would be okay with him if he just stood in the corner and shot 3s but he has a tendency to have to dribble and turn the ball over.

i'm not optimistic about this season's nuggets at all, but hey, at least the avs and broncos are killing it.

I hope we see Fournier get some decent PT, I think Shaw has been impressed with his ability to shoot. He could be a valuable swingman like Chandler was last year. I really hope lawson breaks out, a good game Wednesday and that could keep his momentum high for the early games.

How the hell does half of the team already have some type of muscle strain or bruise? And will Wilson Chandler EVER start a season healthy?

It's a good opportunity for some of the younger guys I guess, but it's not very encouraging to be limping into the season like this.

Sounds like we will be without Ty, Foye and Chandler for this one now. The Post is reporting that Miller, Fournier and Randolph will start in their places. Hopefully the Kings haven't improved that much or we will struggle. This should at least be a good chance for Fournier to get some time and maybe work his way into the regular starting lineup.

Not mad at this at all. I'll take a few losses if it means playing time for these 3. The more early season experience they get, the better the last half of our season looks.

Going to be a tough matchup, looks like were going to be without Lawson, Chandler and Foye. Rotation and minute distribution may end up looking like this.

Nate Robinson(32)/Andre Miller(16)
Evan Fournier(30)/Andre Miller(10)/Jordan Hamilton(8)
Anthony Randolph(25)/Quincy Miller(20)/Jordan Hamilton(3)
J.J Hickson(20)/Kenneth Faried(28)
Javale Mcgee(28)/Timofey Mozgov(12)/J.J Hickson(8)

Yikes.......

I just don't see the logic of playing Miller over Hamilton. Hamilton is better in my opinion.

Q. Miller is a much better defender than Hamilton is right now, what I do not understand is why Randolph is starting, personally I have not been all that impressed with the way he has looked so far, and having him out of position is not going to help his defense.

I just think Hamilton is a better scorer. With Fournier starting this team needs depth with that.

I agree if the minutes breakdown young the giant posted were going to be true I might question it, but it will more likely be A. Miller playing PG 30 minutes and Robinson getting 25 minutes or so off the bench, which will help with the scoring off the bench. Either way if the Kings have improved at all this could be a long night having so many guys out.

Denver Nuggets ‏@denvernuggets 3m

#Nuggets coach Brian Shaw says he's optimistic PG Ty Lawson (groin strain) will play Wednesday at Sacramento.

Thank God..

He'll be starting along side Foye, Randolph, Hickson, and McGee. I fell like we'll be ok against them as long as Cousins doesn't beat the s**out of our frontline all night.

Yeah, I'm not at all enthusiastic about Randolph starting. We move Koufos so that we can start McGee only to play Randolph out of position at SF. There's something naggingly annoying about making a power move and then defeating it.

Without Chandler, Gallinari or Faried options are not very many.

Might as well play McGee, Mozgov, Hickson, SG, Lawson

At least Randolph's 6'11" so that gives the team considerable size 3-5

That being said, what does our bench look like???

Nate/Fournier, Miller, JHam/Arthur, Q. Miller, Mozgov
