What do you guys think the trade value of Wilson chandler would be when gallo comes back to full health? Is it worth trading him? Or packaging him with Mcgee. Or hickson to bring in a better center?

Why trade your best perimeter defensive guy, with very good contract??

Sometimes i cant understand the necessity to trade key players

Personally, I think we should keep and get as many players as we can that can play on both ends of the court hence I probably rate Chandler higher than most fans. The other players like that on this roster are Gallinari, Arthur, Mozgov and McGee (though now I would not hesistate to trade McGee).

Also, minutes won't be an issue, you can probably guess who will have their minutes dropped (Hamilton and Arthur).

Why drop Arthur's minutes? He is one of the key players on this team due to his mid range jumper and his floor spacing

you need depth, chandler is perfect.. can play SF, some PF, can defend, score... honestly would be hard getting someone back better at that salary...

Chandler is one of those guys I would trade, but I would want to trade him in a package for an all star type, if for Chandler and Faried you could get Love or Aldridge I think you do it, but if it is just to trade him for a middle of the line type starter I dont think I would do it.

Absolutely. Depends on what else Denver gives up though. I'd say Lawson and the Knicks pick in addition to Chandler are off limits.

Mavs fan here. Our team is pretty desperate for a center, and I've been really intrigued by JaVale McGee for quite a while. (I'd say about 90% of the trades I've run through the trade checker in the past year have involved McGee.) Assuming Denver is open to shopping him, what would his value be?

i'd say something like chandler, hickson and fournier for monroe, stuckey, and jerebko

your starting lineup would prolly look like this

lawson/robinson/miller
stuckey/foye/hamilton
gallo/randolph/hamilton
faried/monroe/arthur/jerebko
monroe/mcgee/mozgov

thats a real solid team if you ask me

I am not sure that Mcgee has much value right now, possibly an expiring and late 1st round pick or early 2nd rounder, but I am also not so sure the Nuggets would trade him. You see the Nuggets need a shot blocker and starting center as well, as they are terrible at allowing points in the paint, so it would really depend on who else is available out there that they can get. Also once Mcgee comes back from his stress fracture, I can see his value going up again if he is at least as good as he was last year, people forget just how much of a difference he made in some games for the Nuggets last year.

I would say that is an overpay for Monroe, I do not know that I would trade Hickson and chandler for Monroe at this point, and I was a guy who was enamored with Monroe a year ago. The problem is he wants and will probably get a max deal next season, and for a one way player I do not know that he is worth that, limiting his trade value.

If you need a shot blocker capable of starting... Carlisle is DNPing Samuel Dalembert these days. You can have him for nothing. But yeah, I've gotten the sense that the Nuggets still value McGee more than the average fan does.

I do not know how Dalembert is still in the league, it seems like he has been getting DNP CD for years now, so no I doubt the Nuggets would consider him a replacement.

This idea will probably get slammed but I've been wondering if the Nugs are in any way talking with Houston about Asik.

Would you do a straight up trade Asik for McGee? (forget the silly balloon payment- assume Josh is willing to pay that)

Regardless of our opinion, why in the world would Houston make that deal? They already have (arguably) the best center in the league locked up long-term for max dollars. The last thing they probably want to do is add a project center with a fat contract.

Of course I would trade Asik for McGee straight up, the problem is that the Rockets wouldn't, and rumors are out there that the Rockets do not want to trade him to the western conference and are wanting a premium if they do.

Morey has always been ridiculous to deal with when it comes to trades. That's why he spent years not getting anything done and ownership was very close to firing him before OKC just handed Harden over. I guess it worked out for him though, eventually he found a team in OKC that was willing to get absolutely robbed.
