Every trip down the jazz get a foul call, meanwhile the Nuggets have not been able to buy a call, they have to work through it, but the refs are terrible tonight.

Faried wasted an entire preseason working on his post game. Hopefully next season its all on defense because it's atrocious.

Nuggets have for the most part played terrible the last 5 games. Luckily they've salvaged 2 wins because of the awful schedule, but that's about to change. I'm not worried yet, but definitely getting concerned. There just aren't very many Nuggets that are playing well right now.

I'd have to think if he just switched gears and focused completely on defense he could be as "manimal-like" as he is on grabbing rebounds. He's definitely a put his head down and get it done kind of guy, but defense is not part of the agenda yet.

Thing is, I still think our Nuggets will always be in great need of a rebounder like Faried. Same reason we picked up Reggie Evans back when he was pulling down the most boards per 48 min.
The caveat for keeping a player like him around should be not only grabbing boards but playing solid D.
If he could master defense and keep grabbing boards, I'd live with him just slamming down the occasional ally-oop or fast break points. He's the kind of guy that we could live with him averaging 7 ppg, 10 rpg with super-solid D.
Is he better than a Najera though?

For someone with as quick a trigger as Shaw for someone clearly not having it that night, I was extremely surprised he threw Ty back out there in the 4th.
Whether his hamstring is still bothering him or not, it was painfully evident Ty was not himself and had no business being out there.
