Hey everyone, I am doing a survey on AAU Basketball to help me finish my Master's Degree. PLEASE help me by taking a linute to complete it and share your thoughts on the AAU system!

One thing you need to realize is that there's really no homogenous, monolithic AAU program. So for example the questions about coaches emphasizing fundamentels...well I've seen some coaches who only care about winning and treat their kids like crap, and I've seen some great programs that teach kids how to really play the right way. There are no absolutes.

Where I live there are elite AAU programs and leagues specifically for elite programs, there are programs for kids who suck and those teams tend to play each other, and there's everything in between.

By the way you forgot to ask about parents in the survey. And you should think about parents' influence on the programs because I have found that in many cases the parents are the real poison.
