Koufos / McGee
Faried / Chandler
Gallinari / Brewer
Iguodala / Fournier
Lawson / Andre Miller
Karl

Mozgov / McGee
Faried / Hickson
Gallinari / Chandler
Afflalo / Foye
Lawson / NateRob
Shaw

Thought it'd be interesting to compare these two sides. On paper you would think both sides are pretty even (12-13 had a better starting lineup, current has a better bench). What I'm trying to point out is that there is a chance that we have a really good season provided that health isn't a major factor.

Right now success would be based on how Shaw coaches.

current destroys 12/13. Moz would own Koufos now. The only downside is the Mole over AAA, but with the way AAA played last season, you never know. I'm super happy having time to process what went down today. Really excited to see how Harris develops, have been catching up on as much footage as i can, about to do the same with Nurkic.

While this current team may be slightly downgraded at the 2 the improvement and growth of Lawson, Faried, and Mozgov last year should more than make up for the difference. Now if Gallo and McGee can get and stay healthy we have a pretty good team in Denver right now.

on paper i would say this team is built for better sucess come playoff time but we have to see how the season plays out. Glad to have AAA back. I personally liked his stint in denver aside from him dissapering in the lakers series but he's had 2 years to improve his game so it'll be interesting to see how he meshes this time around. ive heard from a couple of people that gary harris is better than brad beal and oladipo but i didnt watch him strongly in college. what your take on harris?

Harris is a solid player... Was projected to be top 10 pick earlier in season, his stock took a hit after he had was measured under 6ft4 at the combine. Izzo is a great coach and devolps them well. Look at draymond green with the warriors. Hard working guy, like Harris.

I read somewhere he is one of the rare sg that come out of college and can start on almost any team.. Intersting.

I was hoping for him at pick 11 and at pick 19 is a steal

Ty and Faried are definitely better now than they were two years ago. I also agree that Mozgov is much better today than Koufos was back then. Chandler may be the only one who's regressed (did he even play much that season?). Gallo and McGee are still big question marks.

It's easy to forget Iguodala's exact impact. When he played well, we were a really good team. But he was also wildly inconsistent and flawed as a player. Afflalo brings similar skills to the table but he's more well rounded (aka he can actually shoot), more consistent and significantly cheaper.
