Somewhat puzzling given the current roster but Mike Miller can shoot. I'm all for having too many shooters on the Nuggets.

It seems like there's a rumor about the Nuggets and Mike Miller every single year going all the way back to the Warkentien regime. Apparently OKC and Houston are interested too. I don't see why he'd pick us over either of them, especially considering his playing time here would be minimal at best.

Looks like we're closing in on Mike Miller.

@jordan_dts
I'm hearing momentum is picking up on a potential deal between Mike Miller and the Denver Nuggets.

Mike Miller does one of two things, push Foye out of the rotation completely, or push Arthur/Hickson out of the rotation completely (WC moves to the 4).

Personally, I much prefer WC playing the 4 in Denver.

With his injuries Miller lost most of his athleticism, I do not think he could even try to guard all the undersized shooting guards around the league anymore. Personally I think Chandler is on his way out, if I remember correctly there were some big rumors that Wilson had requested a trade around the deadline just before Gallo got hurt, and would not be surprised if he wants out again once Gallo is back.

I am aware that he played in all the games last year, but I am also aware that he is not the same player he was 10 years ago and to expect him to be that guy is fooling yourself. He is now a SF that can handle 20 mpg and be a solid player, but he is never going to be the 6th man of the year guy he once was.

Mike Miller is def not a 2, off the bench 3 at this point in his career. Dude already has a couple rings, maybe he wants a bigger deal than he could get ring chasing as he closes out his career. I like a MM for 15-18 minutes a game, just not sure he'd get that if Gallo and Chandler are still here.

If we do sign him something else must be brewing....

Broussard reporting Mike Miller deal is close.

Hope they have a deal in the works to clear up the SF logjam after they sign him, especially since it has been reported that the bidding was over $4 million per this afternoon.

Wasn't there a rumor the other day about trading McGee/Chandler for Hibbert? That would make sense if we're signing Miller.

Also, Dempsey tweeted today that we're sitting about $5-6mil under the tax line right now (that's after signing Harris but before signing Nurkic). I'm not sure they can fit both Nurkic and Miller in there and I really can't see us going over the tax just so Mike Miller can sit on the bench.

I don't know anything about McGee/Chandler for Hibbert, but I could have missed that whole rumor. There was something where the Nuggets had considered deals for them, but I do not know that there was any report of who the target was.

If Miller is at $4.5 than the Nuggets should have just enough to sign Nurkic under the tax.

Miller deal seems odd without another deal tied to it. How much depth can one team have?

It also limits flexibily, but increases our assets. I am not a big fan of Mike Miller, not saying he isn't a good player, but the dude is limited in what he can do. That being said, what he can do best is very important to the success in the league. Definitely would want to wait, but there is strong competition for Miller right now.

I'm a fan of Mike Miller because it feels like a long time since we've actually had a decent veteran on this roster, and no I do not consider Andre Miller the ideal veteran.

Depth wise I dont think it's as bad as a few are making out. All it does it push WC to the backup 4 position and Arthur/Hickson out of the rotation.

And if anything it's not unrealistic for Gallo and Chandler to get injured and miss some games.

Nurkic's croatian club just announced that the buyout has been reached.

Nurkic will be on the Nuggets roster.
