Faried--Team USA

Faried picking up right where he left of. Playing really well for Team USA, 22-8 today. He's hustling, finishing around the hoop...essentially playing the way we're used to seeing Faried play. Didn't see him post up much or take any jumpers.

It helps that he's playing with guards that can knock shots down and a true center in Anthony Davis. Hopefully the Nuggets can get better guard and center play this season, freeing Faried up to do what he does best.

His energy is so important to that team. Everyone else seems to think/know they can coast through most of these games and still win but Faried's energy is contagious. This experience is great for him but I'm afraid to find what it'll mean for his next contract if he keeps it up. If only we had Anthony Davis here to pair him with.

Knicks fan here I come in peace. To me he was the mvp of today's game. Absolutely love his hustle and effort. You guys got a nice little gem in your team. Glad he is getting some exposure on the national stage. He deserves it.

One of the best news I've seen is Faried is picking up the defensive nuances of the pick-n-roll.
