I'm looking at the Western Conference, and it's not difficult to project that we don't make the playoffs. I'd put the following teams above us going into the season:

Golden State
Houston
Portland
Oklahoma City
Memphis
Dallas
San Antonio
LA Clippers

I'd think Phoenix and New Orleans will be in there with us.

Thoughts?

the west hasn't had back to back years with the same playoff teams since 1980 (34 years). Hard to predict who will fall out though. A injury would definitely shake things up. I see POR as maybe the team to fall out. Dont have the bench to overcome an injury to someone like aldridge.

Teams with 35 wins doesn't make play offs. I mean in western conference.

If we play like we had our identity of two years ago then yes I do see the Nuggets making the postseason. It has only been three games ya'll. There's WAY more games to determine where we stand. A lot of our players are still trying to get back to gameplay shape after being out for a while with injuries. Brian Shaw will catch on throughout the season solidifying our roster rotation & working on a specific offensive & defensive gameplan.
