So, who stays....

REBUILD needs to happen, we just can't compete in the current Western Conference. So simple question:

Who stays, who goes ?

OK, I'll start...

Keep Lawson/Faried/Nurkic/Harris/Gallo/Green

Trade AA/Mozgov/ Chandler/Gee

Let Go Robinson/Arthur/Foye/McGee/Hickson

Fire Shaw

the Nuggets cannot compete for 2 reasons, the biggest is Shaw, the 2nd biggest is the injuries to Gallo and McGee, but the real issue is that over the next 18 months most of the roster expires. So at this point with Shaw still coaching and this now being a throwaway season, they may as well trade all of them outside of the Rookies.

Rebel, can't disagree with you, but Faried still has some incredible upside....ceiling...something. And he's only 25, still young enough to be effective through a rebuild. I did put out a trade proposal on Lawson in the TRADE thread so I also see the benefit there. Gallo is still the only other 'keep' I had listed, questionable because of his health issues. He's still pretty young, and his height offsets Faried's lack of it, that's why I kept him as a keeper....

Keep Nurkic, I can't wait to see him fully develop.

No one else is so good or unique that they're indispensable.

Nurkic, Lawson, Arthur, Gallo are the keeps with me.

I'm 50/50 about Faried, he brings tremendous efficiency and seems to be able to play with Nurkic.

Our defense falls apart without Gallo and DA, so that's a no brainer for me (and I think Gallo can be re-signed for cheap). Lawson is good value for his contract.

I don't think anyone would trade for McGee/Gallo/Foye at the moment because they aren't playing. There's a possibility Foye or Gallo find their way off this list.

I'd like to see how Nurkic and Harris develop...other than that I'm not married to any other player, they could all go for the right package back.

Given a choice between Mozgov and Hickson, do we know Shaw is betting his coaching career on choosing Hickson? I'm ok with that as long as Shaw is tied to any lack of success over-using Hickson. How he handled the rotation tonight was fine and I am more than ok with pushing the Nurk.

Just guessing T.C. consulted Shaw before choosing a player to sacrifice.

The young genius owner is finding out he has a learning curve ahead of him. Shaw probably wont still be around when this team is good again, but hopefully the rebuild is fast enough to keep Lawson around. The biggest issue has been Gallo. He was a fantastic player that just got hurt. The FO turnover, coach wasn't replaced with the right guy, and some injuries crippled this team. Some of that you really can't assign any blame to.
