A top 3 pick ? Right now I would love to see either Russell or Mudiay team with Nurkic to build this team. This year's draft only has a couple of top guards and the 2016 is filled with front court talent so I'd love to get one of those two guards. Russell has star written all over him and Mudiay is likened to John Wall, getting either would create a future that could build a powerhouse.

How about 11th pick + Lawson + OKC pick + WC.....am I bankrupting the present ???

For all the hype of the draft you are still as likely to get a bust as an all star even in the top 3. Not only do I think you are overpaying, but I think you are considerably overpaying.

I might give up Lawson and the OKC pick, but that is about it. You are trading a package that could net you a superstar, 2 1st round picks 1 of which is a lotto pick, a borderline all star type of PG, and a starter is a better package than Love brought back, more than Howard a few years ago where they got 3 late 1st rounder over 3 years, a bad contract, a young prospect, and a middle of the road SG.

Good feedback, hope you see where I'm going with this...

Well, obvious we need ammunition to move up, and it could be adjusted, but we are trying to move up to the top 3-4. Ty just got a DUI even while having his best year, that drops his trade value IMO. If we could keep our pick on top of it, I'd be really stoked. Hopefully we can get an asset/draft pick for AA before the deadline to continue the reload. Trading Ty and Chandler would also give us some cap room to work with. It might also allow for an easier transition with a new coach IMO, something that must happen. Not saying Ty or WC would be bad for a new coach, but just allow young players to be molded....if we get the right coach.

Rhetoric man. Point is if we can start Chandler, we can get a decent pick for him.

He's steady but he's ice cold all the time....you can't tell me he's a difference maker on this team. But he is a very good player.....therefore he's worth that pick. Hard sell? Yep.
