Unless Shaw is being told what rotations to play, what offensive and defensive system to run, and how he talks to the media, than it would be hard to say that he is being made the scapegoat.

Scapegoat implies an innocent made to take the blame as a sacrifice to accept blame. This is not what Shaw is doing, he's trying to shield himself from the blame of the team's losses. It's plain cowardly IMO. Lacks professionalism, integrity....if he's here next year, it will be a travesty.

Stress test. Better to know now than in the playoffs.

The one thing Shaw could do to help his own cause is not lean on Hickson so heavily. He has to admit that even though he would like a Hickson-like player in there playing his fantasy league, the man is just not getting it done. Hard for folks like Faried to accept any blame because Hickson is blameless.

I think the players are doing everything they can just to remain professional.
