Clearly this trade deadline the team has drained a bursa sac on the elbow without surgery. Yet who will the 20 shots a game go to and how will the remaining cast interact with Shaw? Will there be more Andre Miller style fallouts, or will it just go uneventfully and leave us with the worst record in over a decade and strategic draft position?

The goal can be perceived to be to make it to game 82 with the league's 2nd worst record, let anyone else not part of the team's future drop off by end of season, acquire something random from the draft, and then plod painfully into the 15-16 season having somehow signed George Hill.

Is getting the team to buy in to Shaw the number one priority? Are there any expectations for Shaw at all? How do you tank and at the same time convince the players and fans their team is in good hands?
