Have heard this one a couple of times, thought I'd see what you guys think.
Can Gary Harris play the PG position
He's a decent passer, has great size for the position, can play defense at the point of attack and can score.
Any thoughts ?

I didn't see anything from Harris this year that indicates he'd be worthy of PG minutes. The PG is the engine of the team, esp a running club like Denver. Throwing in a guy that's never played point to run the show would be a bad idea IMO.

Well, I believe he did play some PG in college and I wouldn't doubt he gets to play some in the Summer League this year. Keep an eye on that, wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Would you guys move Lawson?
Would you consider a move where you get Ellis + Lin for Lawson and another filler?

Lawson will probably be moved, but tbh, I doubt that offer would get him

Lawson has already made his dissension known, we would get a shot at a guy who could become a superstar in this league in Russel, Mudiay or Towns

What kind of deal are you looking for with Lawson? And which teams could offer such a deal that would have interest in him?

I think as far as draft picks, the kings are the most ideal/realistic team we can trade with. With gk as their coach and pete d'alesandro as their gm, they might be interested to hear trade proposals that would bring in guys they scouted and drafted. Gk likes fast pace basketball and Lawson could help him out with that.
I think tim connoly should be fired lol. I called for a Lawson trade in February and hes just getting around to it. I thought shaw should've been fired in November/December when we still had a chance to do something. Next thing you know, we are on a skid that was destined to land us a top 5 pick and then tc decides making fans happy for a week was worth more than getting the most talented player possible and fires shaw. I could keep naming things but we have to get that guys outta here. Hes making his case for top 5 worst gms in the league (billy king still holds the top spot)

You think the Knicks should do that? Fills a big need in pg & only adds 5m to the cap. Draft WCS for D & you'd have what 25-30m in FA money. Sign Monroe for like 15m, Danny green for 8-10m? He's a NYer.
Fill out the team with like Jason Smith, sign Thomas Robinson, some bs solid role players. rotation like ..
Lawson - Galloway
Green - Hardaway -
Melo - Early
Monroe - Robinson
WCS - Smith
That's a good team. Is it a championship contender? I'd say more of a pretender, but for year 1 of the rebuild, that's fine. Next summer, you'll have more $ & add another piece or two to make you a legit contender.

Definitely not but I think if you found a 2 guard that could run point(like Harden), he could play point guard on the defensive end and be a spot up shooter/cutter on offense. But......it's extrememly rare to find a player like Harden.

I like the idea but my board hates the idea (i tihnk we would go after Hzonga)... its been pretty uniform though that they would do it if 16" pick was added...

We aren't adding anymore picks, that would be stupid when that could be a high lottery pick too.....

It's a damn shame Lawson and Denver can't work it out. Turning away from the run and gun style likely didn't help things. Something as simple as sending him to Dallas for Koponen and their 1st and 2nd rounder would be a decent score for Denver. It puts them in position to go with Hezonja at the top and slide into Delon (if they desire) with the Dallas pick. Personally I would just splurge on Teo.
The only real options at PG are rooks or Teo, Koponen or Satoransky. Do the Jazz want to start a rook next year? I would prefer they not. But Hezonja brings the same type of excitement as Melo brought the franchise when he arrived. So a true rebuilding might be in order.

Know you are a Euro enthusiast but there are other options available than Euro-league PG's. If Lawson is traded I'd be ok signing Aaron Brooks or keep Jameer Nelson until we can obtain a strong replacement.

First, for my league package, I'd much rather watch a Tomas/Mario hyper-athletic back-court versus a plus 30 retread. I'd also rather have Teo, and he'd cost more to sign, than a Brooks or Jameer contract. But then again, he's also a much better player.

NBA athleticism, wing size, plays the 1. Bad relationship with the Wiz.

BPA with any pick.
Hell if the Kings will give up Porzingis, I'd be open to moving Lawson. You know, he's on a cheap deal. The club might be better just to do nothing. No reason to dump him on his team friendly deal.

So if NYK gets #1 & Den gets #7, you wouldn't take that deal to get KAT to give up Hezonja & Lawson?
