McNichols Arena

Very bizarre question for the older generation of Nuggets fans. Despite not having grown up in Colorado, I have been a Nuggets fan since the moment Dikembe Mutombo hugged the basketball on the floor in Seattle following Denver's first-round upset of the Sonics. I used the be able to get KOA 850 in our Buick Lasabre and sat out in the car listening to games then played in McNichols Arena. Mutombo, McDyess, Chris Jackson, Jalen Rose, Rodney Rodgers, those were my guys.
I moved out to Denver a couple of years ago. I was in the Englewood area and as it held a special place for me I wanted to see the original site of McNichols Arena before it was torn down. I was certain I had found the location previously from an internet search, but everything I seem to view now says the building used to be adjacent to Mile High Stadium.
Wasn't the building where the Nuggets played in the 90s out in Englewood? Does anyone happen to know the original location?
Feel free to share any stories of McNichols Arena as well.
