Mudiay and Jokic both are Rising Stars !!

Both Emmanuel and Nikola have been named to the rosters of the NBA All-Star Rising Stars game. Not unexpected IMO, kudos to the players, our staff and to the future !!

I thought Jokic would be good based on limited views in the summer but he has shown me more than I could have expected. I think he is a point forward in a center's body. Not fast but quick enough. Plenty of size. Defensive positioning needs work but his basketball iq is off the charts. Jokic thinks like a point guard at times.

Mudiay is a pure point guard with great court vision who can score around the basket. Jokic and Mudiay's are transcending, growing up with god-given basketball skills, size and desire.

So, predicting that Jokic will win the MVP of this game, homer pick I know, but it could happen.

Mudiay scores 30pts with 10ast in the Rising Stars Challenge, a very nice showing for our rookie. Jokic only played 17mims but also had 12/8 on the statline. Nice production from our future All-Stars !
