I've never had the time to pay attention until this year. I've found four "Mock Draft Sites" that seem in appearance more legitimate than others I've seen, but it's amazing what they put and I'm just looking at the Nuggets. I haven't spent any serious time looking much beyond that.
DraftNet doesn't have our round 2 picks but they do list a round 2
Tankathon has us picking PF-SG-PG in that order and they don't list round 2
HoopsHype has us picking PG-PF-SG --- the PG can play SG but the PF seems like Lauvergne with less shooting
DraftExpress has us picking PF-PG-SG with SG-PG in round 2
I don't mind Denver picking up a PF or C, especially a rim protector or defensive specialist - low post moves would be nice but these idiots all prioritize PF ahead of wings. We have 5 bigs now and all can play to a reasonable degree. I just don't think that's our priority with the first pick.
I do NOT understand why everyone wants Denver to pick a PG (or two). We have the man of the future and a good backup. Another young backup would be nice or we can keep DJ if someone isn't there but not with our first pick like HoopsHype idiots have.
Is there a Mock Draft out there that has some semblance of common sense? (I couldn't find anything even this good on the RealGM General Boards draft forums.)
