Woo our one and only nationally televised game of the year!

In all seriousness, I'm really looking forward to seeing Murray and Juancho play.

The first half was rather depressing, even the second quarter when Denver started pulling back into the game. The third period was a little discouraging, very similar to the second quarter. The fourth quarter was rather nice, but not all that impressive. It seemed to me that our defense wasn't very good - switching and covering and such. If you look at the box score, Minnesota had terrible stats but it seemed like that was more because they weren't playing well then because Denver's defense was playing well.

But that's the story of youth and summer league. Each game should show improvement.

That first quarter was awful for everyone, but Mudiay and Harris pretty much dominated after that. Felt like they really controlled that entire second half.

Murray was pretty unimpressive and didn't seem to impact the game much. His lack of athleticism/quickness is a bit of a worry, but nothing to panic about this early.

Thought Juancho looked good. Really liked the way he cut to the basket and crashed the boards. Seems to have a decent body already too.

Cornelie looked raw as hell. He definitely doesn't have an NBA body yet.

Of course, we gotta remember this is the summer league and that most of these performances, good or bad, should be taken with a grain of salt.

Backcourt looks a it's got a bit of potential, gotta like that. Efficiency could be better but that'll come in time !

Petr cornelie looked like lost on the court, but also SM isnt the best place when you start to play this type of basketball (faster than france, 1vs1, ...) he needs time because its a huge transition, and obvioulsly needs to steal boris diaw' s nutricionist for the whole summer ...

Hernangomez played good, he is very active and plays hard every play, I hope in the next games the PG/SG will look for him more in the pick and pop situations, he has a good mid range shoot and in a lot of plays he was alone waiting for the ball.

I watched this morning and was ready to rip Harris after that very slow start but he came around. Had a few nice drives and knocked down some shots. I still feel like he should be dominating more but that's just not his game.

I liked the passing from Mudiay and his assertion as the game went on, he wasn't super assertive but did enough to win.

Murray started slow, made a few baskets later in the game, his handles need some work but I'll have to see more of him before drawing conclusions. He has a flash to his game but isn't explosive per se.

Juancho didn't show a lot but I liked what I did see from him, good skill set. Be interesting to see if he stays with the team.

Sorry I haven't been posting, I got a new phone and the RealGM app was taken off the market. I'm now forced to use the Tapatalk app, lol. Anyway, I enjoyed Hernangomez's start so much it was enough to believe this guy should be on the team this year... Granted he works with The trainers to improve his defensive IQ and footwork. Mudiay and Harris were themselves. And eddies some bad shots in the beginning, Murray played well. What surprised me was Toupane who looked like he belonged out there and he was playing good basketball, defending well, shooting well, and even had a couple nice Dunks. We should definitely be looking to keep him on our roster for the upcoming season. That might have been Mudiays only game, so hopefully now we get to see more of Murray at Point and some more Jimmer Fridette.
