Jokic has a history of dominating Toronto, especially Valanciunas in particular, so I'm hoping to see more of that. I'd also like to see Murray get a real opportunity to produce in his first (regular season) game back in Canada.

We've played the Raptors real hard the last two times (both DEN wins btw) so I'm really looking forward to this one.

Should have picked Hunt I think. Malone is the worst in game coach I have ever seen.

I wanted Malone to play Nurkic and/or Jokic in the fourth quarter - but not one of them for the entire quarter!!! How stupid.
Did you notice that our guards/SF switched on every pick but when one of the bigs was involved, they chased their man over the top, leaving Nurkic or Jokic trying to cover their man plus the small? Sure made Jokic/Nurkic look bad more than once. NBA players are too good for that approach. They just don't need much space to get off their shot and going over the top leaves them open or it leaves the big open to roll for a dunk. DeRozan and Lowry got most of their points off those pick-n-rolls.
Movement on offense was better, but sporadic. There was still too much standing around, watching one-on-one ball. Even when Mudiay or Barton drove, they were basically on their own.
Turnovers were way down. That was nice to see.
If Barton is out for a game or two, do Murray and Beasley get more playing time?

At some point these guys need to figure out how to win close games. They just look lost every single time it gets down to the last two minutes, and you have to put the blame for that on the coach. Last year I was okay with the "well they're young and still learning" excuse, but that's gonna real old real quick if/when this keeps happening. Very frustrating.

Yeah, I don't know what the scouting report was, but it felt like they were going over for DeRozan and under for Joseph... and obviously DeRozan lit up on that.

Depth is a good thing, but this team needs an Alpha Dog.
Or two. Or three.

I doubt LA would consider this but it would be nice to pursue a trade for dangelo while getting rid of mudiay in the process. Not a fan at all of his game / on court demeanor.

Starting to feel that way too but Malone seems to love him. Russell seems like a SG that can handle. Not a fan of his personality but his play is nice. Maybe the Nuggets can bring over Radicevic (stashed). He's a 6'5" PG that can shoot some. They've already got Murray on board. If we bring on Russell and draft a 6'5" PG that can shoot next year, we'll have four PG-SG combos. LOL I like that and Malone loves to play 3 guards or 2 PGs, so that'd work well for him.

1st I will start off with the game comments. If we had Harris last night we would have won. I do not know when Barton decided to quit playing defense but it was at some point last year, both he and Gallo need to return to playing defense.
Nurkic and Jokic both need more minutes, both together and alone.
Nelson is bac to being okay on offense, but for a guy who has always been marginal on defense, he is now terrible.

I do not see anyway the Lakers trade Russel at this point, and I honestly do not want the guy on the roster.

Watching the Bulls vs. Celtics and right away one of the announcers points out that Thomas went over the top of a screen, just like the Nuggets did at Toronto. He follow up his comment about Thomas doing that with, "One of the few teams that does that because it leads to 'pocket passes'."
