Seems we're better on the road anyway, though I do wonder who's out

Well, perimeter defense seems non-existent

Well, perimeter defense seems non-existent. Guess we're still leaning to defend the 3-pt shot :banghead:

They responded well when Phoenix started getting physical in the 2nd half. It's like they known they're going to blow a lead tho, gotta keep their foot on the gas and not let these get close.

Malone needs to stop playing Nelson to close games. The guy is very destructive, his refusal to pass the ball is something.

Not a big fan of Nelson playing so much just because I like to see the young guys play and learn; however, with Harris out, Nelson appears to be the only guard that plays defense much - Murray isn't too bad though.

I also think Nelson paired with Mudiay makes Mudiay the SG and slows his PG development. On the other hand, he seems to be changing his style of play during this (in a good way it seems). Murray might be the true PG with Mudiay as a nice combo guard.

(It just would be nice to see Mudiay dunk in traffic instead of trying to avoid getting hit. He is NOT a good acrobatic shooter but he is strong.)

I agree, although I will add that I do not understand why Malone kept getting smaller towards the end of the game.

I'm not a Nelson fan but he did have a good game and I could see why he went back in at the end. I believe he had 14 pts in the 3rd to keep the lead from completely slipping away. He took a questionable shot at the end but it didn't come back to bite them
