this shite with keeping Nurkic out in the 4th quarter has to stop, especially when hes playing like tonight

Rotations remain odd. Nelson played most of the second half, Nurk couldn't get back in, Malone went small again towards the end.

I will say pairing Arthur with Nurkic to start works well because Arthur can score outside the paint.

Rotation: Malone handled things differently tonight and played 1 guy over 30 minutes and 8 others over 20 and 1 at 18. With the Nuggets depth and equality on the bench (bench scored half the points even without Chandler); with Orlando playing on the back end of a back-to-back, that was the right thing to do. With that said, Gallinari was the only guy over 30 minutes. Yes he had a good game, but until he plays consistently, he needs reduced minutes in order to heal and/or prevent injuries. It's a long season and how many teams cut minutes for guys coming back from injuries? Or guys that are injury prone?

Lots of iso plays but it worked tonight because the Nuggets dominated the boards.
Mudiay's stat line wasn't very impressive but and this is a big BUT, he only had one turnover with two assists. Still not impressed with his defense. He trails too far behind going over the top of picks and when his man spots up, he sometimes loses track of him while he's "spectating". Then again, that's Gallinari's defense too, so I guess it's allowed.

Mediocre is all I can call this win...just shows the team/players/coaching/FO have really no direction or identity.

I have nothing to really add about this game. Some good things happened, but Orlando is such a flawed team, it's like who knows. It was nice to see Nurkic and Jokic have good games in the same game for once (it's been awhile).

Yeah it either needs to be nurk-darth starting or Jokic-faried. There's just no spacing in a nurk-faried-Mudiay lineup.

Does look like Hernangomez can become a player, he had a good showing tonight

I am really starting to believe in Hernangomez. I wanted to believe earlier, but he is really impressing me. Once again we hear "too small" but we have a few players that are "too small". "Jokic needs to add weight" and "Murray is too small/needs weight" and yet they all seem to handle things just fine. Now, to psych myself up for next year or the year after when Cornelie shows up. We'll hear it again, "too thin, needs weight". LOL

Juancho did have a good game. I didn't see an offense per-se but I did see more ball movement.

4 or 5 from 3 - 14 pts in 18 minutes? Sounds like offense

True...but Murray needs to find some consistency, probably why he isn't starting ...yet!!
