Dec 28 - Jan 19 - 10 Games

4-2 with the new lineup --- our next 10 games will be a good test - 6 teams with a better record than us (1 is just barely)

Minnesota
Sixers
@ GSW
Sacramento
Spurs
@ Thunder
@ Pacers
Magic
@ Lakers
@ Spurs

We should probably win our next two at home: Minnesota & Philadelphia
Sacramento is ranked ahead of us, but just barely - they are beatable
Indiana has a better record than us, but they seem better than that - are they beatable?
Orlando should be a home win
LA Lakers are probably the best shot we have at a road win in this stretch

I'm playing the optimist here, but I think 6-4 over the next 10 is within reach, injuries/tanking (Lakers) could play into a couple of those. If we are really turning the corner, this will tell us whee we are. By tomorrow, WE could the 8th seed...will we be able to maintain it though ?

6-4 and 5-5 is something i will be ok with, anything more would be great, anything less, well...Maybe we could see Nurk back in the lineup..

1-0 so far on my predictions

Factoring in the schedule, baffling rotations and our inability to close games strong I see us going 3-6. Much rather see Skywalker's prediction come true.

<sigh> I try not to be too optimistic and then you come along and rain on my parade. :nonono: Unfortunately, I think I was hinting that you might be right. :banghead:

@ Pacers - in London

Magic ----- Win? Maybe
@ Lakers - Road win? Doubtful but maybe
@ Spurs -- If we are within 20, does that count as a moral victory?

I was hoping for 5-5 --- January seemed like an easier schedule than December.
I'm with Powder Blue on this one.

Game in London could be more of a home game compared to games in Denver because of our euro roster, I'll step out on a limb and give the Nuggets a win there

Good point - think Malone will give Nurkic & Hernangomez minutes?

Only if the League mandates it

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist type but in this case, the NBA just might "strongly hint" that Denver play our Europeans.

Nurkic - 7 min
Hernangomez - 3 min
disappointing - especially for the European fans of those players
28 point win and Malone couldn't find more minutes for them? Pathetic! Blow outs are where youth are supposed to play!

*** Next 3 games finish this "10 Game" post
Magic
@ Lakers
@ Spurs

I make the Magic at home a 50/50 shot at winning
Same with Lakers on the road

If we win just one of those, that will give us a 16-25 at the mid-point of the season.
That's 32-50 for the season, if we match the first half play.
I know many thought the Nuggets could win 40 or better; while most of us predicted 35-38 and many "experts" predicted 32-34. I'd surely hate to have those "experts" proven right. ((( I was one of the 35-38 (especially strong on the 38

With 44 games left, we'd need at least 23 wins to reach your projection WY, seems a bit on the outside but not impossible. Looking at the rest of the schedule, I can see between 15-18 wins and that can change even more +/- depending on the trade deadline.
